Walk through the iconic streets of Delft and the old town which were Johannes Vermeer’s inspiration to paint his masterpieces” Views of Delft”. Along the walk you’ll be able to appreciate the town hall, the ancient church and the Agnetapark. Delft is inextricably linked with the Dutch royal family. The Prince’s Court William of Orange, the founding father of the Netherlands was murdered and buried at the town’s New Church. Almost every deceased member of the royal family since William of Orange has been interred in the royal crypts at the New Church.
Get ready to go through seven different environments with a total of 3,000 square meters and filled with state-of-the-art audiovisual technology? Experience authentic Dutch handcraft at Royal Delft. Established in 1653, Royal Delft is the last remaining Delft Blue Pottery factory from the 17th century. We still produce our pottery according to centuries old tradition. Have a look at our life-size Nightwatch in Delft Blue, discover our special relationship with the Dutch Royal Family or see the craftsmen produce earthenware in our historic factory.
